Day 1 (Alentejo Region): The first day of our 3-day itinerary will start in the biggest of Portugal regions: Alentejo. We’ll make a road trip through Alentejo’s dry, golden plains and its traditional white washed villages. Get in touch with its charismatic people, its rich crafts and taste some of the best cuisine Portugal has to offer in Évora district.
Main attractions: Arraiolos tapestry, wines from the region of Alentejo, local crafts, historic castles, the city of Évora, Reguengos de Monsaraz, among many other attractions.
Day 2 (Ribatejo region): Not far from Lisbon, lies the historical region of Ribatejo. While it shares some of Alentejo’s cultural heritage, Ribatejo has an identity of its own: from religion to history, from bullfighting to horse dairs, this region has it all!
Main attractions: The castle of Tomar, Christ’s convent in Tomar, many Bullfighting events, Almourol Castle, Horse rides and visits, A Boat trip in Tejo’s riverbed, among other attractions.
Day 3 (Oeste): This day is great for the ones who seek a mix of leisure with culture. We’ll visit one of the most iconic Portuguese palaces located in the charming village of Mafra. We’ll also visit the small fishing village of Ericeira, go on a wine tour and have an outstanding traditional Portuguese lunch with fresh fish grilled to perfection.
Main attractions: Mafra Royal Palace, Mafra Library (inside the palace), Village of Ericeira, Shoreline road trip, Wine tour, traditional Portuguese lunch, among other attractions.
